Camouflage in the Cold

It was absolutely freezing, as I decided I would dare to go sleeveless in the 19 degree weather!  But at least my hands and head were warm in the camo beanie and half finger gloves!  I have never really loved how I look in hats or beanies, but I am starting to embrace them as it is so darn cold here!  The other day I left the house with half of my hair wet, which happens on quite a regular basis, and my hair froze.  It literally FROZE.  I twist my hair so it will curl, and it froze in the twist.  I think I may have to give up some sleep and actually fully dry my hair, blah!

FRIDAY FIT-FASHION FANTASY!

I often find myself daydreaming about Activewear!  Leggings, tanks, shoes… especially Nike’s!  All I want is Activewear!  It honestly makes me happy.  Activewear is like the “gateway drug”, that leads to the “harder stuff” (the GYM).  Whenever I indulge in Activewear, I know that I am gonna be itching for the GYM asap to show it off!

I mean, who doesn’t dream of having Pink hair?  If my day job would allow, I WOULD have this hair color, and many others as well!  One day… sigh!  You can’t have pink hair and not mix skeletons, sparkles, spots, and strips into your wardrobe!  Once you have pink hair, you can get away with anything, you are a DIVA!  Okay… you don’t have to have pink hair to be a DIVA!  We all can rock whatever the hell we want, the only person who decides if you are a DIVA is YOU!

Leopard and Cheetah Prints are not going anywhere, at least anytime soon!

I know above I said that matching is out… I wouldn’t wear an entire outfit designed in the same type of print, to me that screams tacky… but an outfit put together with different types leopard print and color, can be fashionable!

CLASSIC BLACK… with a pop of NEON!

When I say “pop” of neon, I obviously mean “pop’s”!  Black and neon’s are in right now!  We all know that black, will probably be FOREVER “IN”!  So if you ever feel you need to add some staple items to your activewear wardrobe, you can almost never go wrong with black.  To spice up a simple black pant and tank,  accessorize in neon!

Thank you for visiting and indulging in my daydream!  I am feeling an itch for activewear, but can’t let myself buy anything else, well.. at least until what I already ordered yesterday arrives in the mail!

Sometimes it is just a mis-matched neon, cheetah and sparkle kind of day.  Who matches all of the time anymore?  It is fun to mix things up, even if it doesn’t seem logical.  I remember when black and brown together were a big no-no, and now you see black and brown all the time.  Sometimes you just have to say “screw it” and wear whatever the heck you want, if you like it, who gives a crap what anyone else thinks!  Leopard and Cheetah for life!!!!

It is nothing but Sparkle on the blog today!  Only because I did my hair, and that is a day to be remembered!  I am sporting all black with gold accents for my outfit choice!  My go-to, when I actually get all prettied up, is always, and will probably always be the color black.

Sleeveless Boyfriend and Sneaks!

As the Winter months roll in, I get excited for leggings, hoodies, boots, etc.  The only good things that come from winter here in SLC are the Holidays with family, and the change in fashion!  I do not like the snow or the cold, but love the new wardrobe that comes along with them, even my fitness wardrobe.  I get a reason to go out and by gym pants, rathar than capris, and long sleeve tops rather than tanks!  Any reason to buy new workout stuff, yes please!

In these pics I am wearing sneaker heels, snakeskin leggings, a simple white tank, a boyriend sleeveless hoodie,and a blue/purple fringe purse with some accessories.  I’ll admit I was not in love with the sneaker heels when they first where the rage, but they have grown on me.  I found this mens sleeveless hoodie and fell in love with the length.  Sometimes there are things that I buy for my husband that I wish I could by for myself, but they don’t have it in womens and the mens small is just too big.

  I love simple clothes with accesories that pop lately!

From Fit to Fab!

From FIT to FAB… oh what a coat, some boots, and an accessory or two, can do!

I like to make my workout clothes functional, which is a nice way of saying, I WEAR THEM ALL THE TIME!  Okay, I’ll confess… I got ready twice this past weekend.  By “ready” I mean I wore something other than workout clothes, ha ha! I actually wore jeans, blah, it has been so long since I’ve worn jeans, I forget how much a truly dislike them, so uncomfortable.  I am so glad that legging season is upon us!

Let’s be honest ladies, getting ready takes so much time.  I get ready…the REAL ready (hair, outfit, makeup, etc) so rarely.   Luckily, the top knot hair style is in! Getting ready has been such a rare occurrence lately, between designing new gloves, work, and the gym, the last thing I wanna do is spend an hour in front of the mirror, blah!

I just want to share how you can use your fitness attire, as your weekend attire.  I always hit the gym, and on the weekends, I usually where my workout clothes everywhere. To be honest, I probably have more workout clothes, than I do regular clothes.  I would rather purchase workout clothes, over any other type of clothing.  I just feel cuter in my workout clothes.  Enjoy the photos below!

Sunday Fun day!

Sunday Fun day walk!  We love our Sunday free time.  Away from all the worry and hurry.  Things have been so busy lately with my husbands business and me getting things going with Sparkle and Sweat, that we forget about what truly matters.  The things we often forget about are the ones (and creatures) we love so much!  Don’t forget to put things into perspective, love and cherish the things that truly matter.  Tank, this lovely child of ours, often drives me bonkers with his nonstop slobber, snorts and toots.  But, life would just be too easy without him!
